Really enjoyed the food from the hawker stalls during the day time. Some of my favorite food from the hawker stalls have to be the pork ball noodles, pan mee & the chicken rice. Prices for the food are also pretty reasonable as well. The only down side is that parking can be a problem when choosing to dine in here.

OK... Ok. This place has been around for centuries, for eons, or just ages actually. However, what it serves really explains its survival in the ever changing death pit in TTDI's food scene. Their char kuey teow is one of the better dishes in the house, and so is their claypot dishes. There is a never ending foray of food to eat here, and despite the recent food hike, there is no doubt that the trend will not change unless something drastic happened. Like overcharging for a plate of food. Now, the price is comparable to any major Hong Kong diner franchises, and it is sad to see that happen to this amazing place. Ah well.

Iconic coffee shop! Restoran OK has been around for as long as I can remember. The coffee shop is located directly behind CIMB bank in TTDI. I've been patronising the coffee shop since I was a young boy and I must say that the food here has gotten even better over the years. If you're dropping by for lunch you must most definitely order the - fried kuey teow - curry noodles - chicken rice - wan tan mee There is a booth at the front of the coffee shop that sells pastries like char siew pau and egg tarts! The egg tarts are eggcellent ;) There is also a fruit stand selling freshly cut fruits and fruit rojak. During the evenings, there is satay stand selling freshly grilled sticks of chicken and beef. Parking here is definitely an issue during the day. There are also a lot of summons being issued to those who do not pay for parking and have their vehicles in unauthorised parking areas.

During the day Restoran OK Seafood is opened out to hawker stalls. I would say most of the stalls serve good food. The only problem about the location is parking. It may take some time to find a parking spot because of the many shop lots and eateries in the area. Be patient while looking for one, seriously it may take up to 15 minutes or more. Not the best place to go if you have a tight lunch break. The interior is a little old and unkempt, don't be turn off by it. The place probably just need a new face lift but, so far, I never had any problem with it. Although, it can get pretty hot as I feel the heat is trapped within the restaurant. I tend to sweat a lot whenever I have my lunch there. I have not tried eating here at night but I am planning to try soon

TTDI houses a lot of good food. This particular Chinese restaurant is one that I frequent with my mates for dinner on weekends. There's indoor seating area which is quite stuffy in my opinion so my friends and I would always pick a table at the outdoor area. We do avoid this place during rainy days because getting a seat for the bunch of us would be close to impossible and parking isn't exactly the most convenient. I've never tried the other stalls during the day so I can't comment on them. But the main kitchen that opens at night is superb. I would always order their salted egg squid and kam heong pork. Of course there are other tons of food to order like their seafood dishes but do try the 2 dishes I recommend if you ever go there. The price has gone up a little throughout the years but it is still one of the more affordable great food places that cost about RM15 per person after you split the bill.
